Installation Steps and Precautions for Automotive Timing Sprockets

1. Rotate the tensioner control handle downward to the release position.
2. Push the tensioner slider toward the tensioner control handle to compress the spring, lock the slider in place, and simultaneously rotate the tensioner control handle upward to the locking position.
3. When installing the camshaft, the crankshaft sprocket, and the timing chain, ensure that the timing marks on both sprockets are aligned.
4. Install the camshaft sprocket fastening bolts and washers with a torque of 7 kg·m.
5. Verify that the timing chain is installed correctly.
